Connor B asked:

I recently removed the hard drive that was functioning fine. I brought it to a friend’s house and we were playing my Madden 08 franchise. While trying to save, it repeatedly said save failed. This was very aggravating and then the E68 error appeared. Since then, my hard drive has not worked and I have tried nearly all of the fixes on YouTube. Has anyone had success on any of these fixes and what exactly were they?

One Response to “How do you fix XBOX 360 system error E68?”

  1. BOKKA'Z Says:

ok, so let me tell how it’s going to work, the E68 means that your HDD needs to be updated,
so you have to get to ,
and then download the update file, and uncompress it ,
then rip it on a disc or a DVD,
then just set your 360 to Boot to disc from System—- console Settings—— Startup
then put the disc in the 360 , then turn it off,
    and attach the Hard Drive
then turn it back on and the 360 will apply the update to the Hard Drive,
and if it didn’t work just call the support Line Dude :-S
