I’m going to assume you have the internet connected as you’re obviously online to read this.
For the Xbox 360 part, just login to your Linksys router’s admin page by typing the Gateway IP address on your web browser and enter the password. On the Basic Setup page set MTU to Manual and enter a value of 1492. make sure the internet connection type is set to (usually for ADSL) PPoE and you have entered the username and password here for your ISP.
Save it.
Connect a standard ethernet patch cable from the back of your Xbox 360 to your Linksys router (one of the ports labelled from 1 to 4, not WAN).
