I just bought a new xbox 360 with a 60G hard drive. What I would like to do is transfer the files from my 20G hard drive to the 60G hard drive. What are my options? Do I need to buy a memory card and transfer the files that way or is there another method of doing this? I read about a transfer cable that is made specifically for transferring files. Would the cable work for what I want to do and if it does, should I get it?

The best option is probably using a memory card.
You can use a trasfer kit which will be less time consuming but it’s a one time deal. Unfortunately, any preexisting game data on your 60G will erased.
So I really suggest just taking the time to transfer everything over with a memory card.
