I first had a windows ISP connection, which was slow and commmonly disconnected. Then I switched to direct modem connection and it was still slow and has lag and disconnects. Any suggestions on how to fix it that aren’t so obvious? I tried all the ones on the Xbox support pages.

mine has a problem with the disc drive, no 3 red lights, so it wont be covered by the microsoft warranty. i originally bought it at best buy, but that was a year ago so i dont have the receipt anymore. i want an estimate of the price too, if possible.
